Good place with beautiful sights, just don't forget your belongings: I left my earphones at breakfast - disappeared. Left my new shirt on the bed - never find.

This was our penultimate round of golf after an amazing holiday in South Africa.
I had done my research and decided to book this course as we were staying in Franshhoek and thought we must play this course.
To say we were disappointed is an understatement ( sorry Pearl Valley)
It was the most expensive course we played in 7 weeks, and we stayed and played at Fancourt .
A lot of the Ladies tees were not in good condition and some of the areas just off the fairways and a couple on the fairway, were very rough indeed.
Quite a lot of the holes look very similar, which I assume is the JN design, but it just ‘didn’t rock my boat ‘ as far as courses go.
Also, on the 17th at one point there were 4 flights on the hole !!
A 4 ball, followed by a 2 ball followed by our 4 ball and we were constantly pushed by a 2 ball ????
Would it not have been better to make the two balls into four balls ( as they do in other countries) and then people don’t get frustrated with the groups in front and behind and you see lots of images of ‘teapots on the tees or fairways’ ????????????

This is a housing Estate. Beautifully landscaped. The security is excellent.
Very safe for children to grow up here.
I delivered Daily Dish food to clients who live there.

Fairly high greenfee, but the course is in very good condition. Lots of fairway bunkers that require a precise tee shot.

Best Golf in Western Cape. Great views to the Mountains, best golf conditions. We enjoyed it very much, followed by great wines and food in the Franschhoek Valley.
