I have always had mixed feelings about this place, service and food was average. However, the last time we ate there, there was new staff training and we were served by one of the trainees. Probably the best service I have had in years! Waitress was polite and quick. Service was fast and we didn't have to ever look for service or get irritated by constant checking. A complete turn-around. A great experience.

Red Mountain surprised me with very good and friendly service which I am really grateful for. Absolutely love Spur and their famous Ribs u0026 Chips as well as their Steaks. Although I had really great service and food I give this Spur a average star mark because of location. Not spectacularly situated at the entrance of the Mall but that is just my own opinion. I can definitely recommend them for their food and good service.

Upon arrival I was very pleased with the friendly reception and was shown to my table . The waiter was super helpful with questions on the menu, took our orders and without anyone getting the wrong orders made sure we got it promptly. Very well done.

We got there about an hour or so before closing on a Sunday. There was no one at the front desk. When we eventually got seated we could see that the waiter's minds were set on cleaning and getting ready to go home. I had to call a different waiter every time to get assistance. At one stage I had to walk to the kitchen to get attention. The manager also came to serve us at the end. I know going home after a long working day is everyone's objective and clening up before closing is a must but you still need staff attending to cusomers till the last minute.
Even with all that the staff and management were friendly, helpful and always had a smile.

We were 4 above 60 people from Worcester arrived in Paarl hungry at about 15h00 at Spur. The waitress was very friendly and assisted with menu's ASAP explained the various options...tasty steaks were ready in no time...and we also had chocolate and ice-cream....so so nice

The portions are very small. Ribs were charcoal at the tips. I specifically asked the waiter if I can get Roquefort cheese sauce with the spicy wings, did not happen. Would rather go to another branch next time.

Kid friendly, staff cares a lot children are safe, had the chicken bacon avo salad, children had fish fingers and chips with vanilla milkshake and creamsoda. Excellent choices great taste excellent service highly recommended
