Been on my bucket list for a while and a rainy Sunday morning felt like the perfect excuse. Wow! Eye candy galore. Beautiful old cars and tractors. And whole bunch of other paraphernalia. Inside the restaurant, an equally eclectic selection. But for me, the star of the show, is the small but homely selection of food on the menu. I seldom struggle to choose but everything sounded (and was) so delicious. Even more impressive is the portion to price ratio. With the money ‘saved’ we bought curry mince jaffels for take away. The smell home nearly made me pull over and have an impromptu picnic at the side of the road. Thank you for choosing quality and substance over profit. I will be recommending you to everybody until I can be back for the wildspastei.

What an unexpected surprize this place was. Not well marked with road signs but a lovely experience for any1 born 1970 and before that, who'd like to reminisce of the good old days. They have a few eats and many places where you can sit with your drink and eats. No dogs allowed

Absolutely a must visit. Experience nostalgic memorabilia from 'Toeka' is a must. Awesome exhibition and museum. The restaurant have a great selection of cuisine with coffee for everyone's taste.

What a find....such a treasure trove of things of yore. Really brought tears to my eyes with the memories that came flooding back. Great staff and service is efficient. Was able to get some unique gifts for Christmas. My hubby was in awe of the car collection and tge garden Beetles. Lovely quaint place to stop whilst on your travels. Love the concept.

This place has very tasty "roosterkoek" with chips, and there is a LOT of old stuff to see. Will definitely visit Toeka again to see all the stuff we missed the first time round.

VERY interesting place, small menu, affordable prices.

Our breakfast was most enjoyable u0026 filling for buffet @ R125. Bacon, egg, sausage, baked beans, chicken liver, tomato u0026 onion relish was dished up, with a big mug of coffee.
The cereals, breads, scones, muffins, cheese, jams, juice were unlimited.

Seating indoors, on the stoep, in a children's playpark, and in garden. Just stunning!

There are collections of items from yesteryear, or as the name, 'van "Toeka's" se tyd'.

From wedding u0026 bridesmaid dresses, to cash registers, cameras, cars, tractors, toys, crockery, magazines, newspaper posters, the list is endless. As per usual, I took a zillion photos.

A visit is a must...paved entrance with shells of VW Beetles lining the driveway.

Small motorcycle parking on paved area, test of parking is sand.

Get there early to spend time walking around.

Me and my husband went there the Saturday morning for breakfast, a day after we got married the Friday 09th September 2022. Friendly service. We would certainly want to go there again in the future. Toeka you rock!
