Their rooms are so cosy and well-equipped. We stayed there for one night only, but the host was so friendly and even willing to get up at 03h00 the next morning to let us book out and drive back to Gauteng. The farm is beautiful. If we could, we would have stayed much longer. They definitely deserve full stars!

Loved it! We've stayed there twice now. It is nestled in beautiful countryside, with farm animals, lots of horses, offering peace, quiet, a rustic farmhouse, relaxation and just a few minutes from some of the finest wine farms and restaurants in the country.

Horses were lovely to see! The owner was not very involved with us for which she apologised but it would be nice if there was a brochure or something in the room to help us find our way around the farm. The pool looked terrible! Breakfast served strictly between 8am and 9am only. When we came out our room for breakfast we stood around until 8.15 not sure where to go. No one around, main house doors shut. So we opted to go home. No milk or kettle in our room for coffee. Sink pipe broken in kitchen, we placed a bucket under sink ourselves to catch the leaking water. No drinking water available, tap water not drinkable. No tv, no wifi, no aircon. No soap to shower with, we used the hand soap. We paid R800 for the night and the room was lovely but service lacking from management at that price and does not feel like 4 - star facility. One does expect "the basic little things" for what you are expected to pay to stay there. The facility website displays Error 404 or something so one cannot find info there either.

This is our usual stay over and we have been there on several occassions.
The two cottages sleep 2 u0026 4 people respectively and are very trendy.
The 5 bedrooms in the main house are themed and each room has a ensuite.
Breafast is the traditional bacon u0026 eggs, tea, coffee, jam, juice, cereal u0026 yoghurt.

Anna-Marie u0026 her staff are lovely.

I love taking friends for either a picnic ride or a mountain ride. Pets are welcome and my dogs love to join the ride. The Schaborts are excellent equestrians.

Peace and tranquility are at the order of the day here. Top that off with a hearty home cooked breakfast and you're set for a wonderful day of exploring the winelands
