Great family Portuguese restaurant, amazing assortment of Portuguese wine, authentic South African Portuguese food, sardines, prawns, peri peri chicken, all sumptuous really good desert as well, good specials. Owner chef run always happy, waiters are warm and have good understanding of the menu and wine pairing.

Great food, the breakfast special is definitely a winner if you’re in hayfields shopping complex and feeling hungry! Other items on the menu are also very delicious. Service is excellent, and the owners are wonderful and very friendly. Definitely a must visit!

A family diner with class. A superb Portuguese menu to choose from, and a very useful children's menu too. Great service, comfortable outside and inside seating. Not much ambiance but it's so convenient that that is easy to forgive. The food is genuine Portuguese and tastes just the way that Mama made it! Wine and small beer served, gentle music played. Yes, it IS a great place to have a meal AND it's in Hayfields which otherwise is a restaurant desert! Bookings are a good idea for the evenings.

We went there based on most of the reviews we saw on Friday of Comrades weekend. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and efficient. Although it was small and appears to be a family run business, it could do with some atmosphere. But overall a lovely little place which I think the people from PMB have yet to discover.
