Have stayed here more than ten times over the last few years. We won't stay anywhere else if we need to visit PMB. Lovely spacious rooms, absolutely everything we want and need, owners and staff are fantastic, breakfast is delicious and top quality, and our favorite part is the Staffie welcoming committee, Luna. Nothing brightens my day like a doggo who makes you feel special!

I was in Pietermaritzburg running a conference for two and a half weeks and I needed somewhere to stay. My local event partner found Greenlands and I am so happy she did because it was awesome. My room was huge, spotless and perfect for home base for my time there. I have a bad back and the bed was better than my bed at home. It had everything I needed and the wifi was an added bonus. The whole property is lovely and very quiet but the USP of the whole thing is Michelle, the owner. She is amazing. I have been in events and tourism for the last fifteen years and travelled a fair bit but I have never met someone who cared so much about her guests. She is so helpful and friendly and a delight to see in the morning because she is always smiling. She is chatty and its nice to have that interaction with someone when you are in a foreign city and are working. Seriously Michelle has nailed the whole thing perfectly. Her staff are amazing too. Would quite happily come back and stay here time and time again.

The very best experience and home away from home i could ever wish for during my first Comrades adventure. Michele is warm and motherly and made us all feel so welcome. The rooms are gorgeous, beds from heaven, linen crisp and clean, panel heaters on and ready for our arrival, fridge restocked with fresh milk, cookies and fudge every day. Great service, good food, and professionally serviced. I would definitely recommend Greenfields when staying in Pietermaritzburg.

We had a lovely stay and hostess Michele went out if her way to make our stay comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
