Aardklop is an annual South African arts festival held since 1998 in the town of Potchefstroom in the North-West province of South Africa. The cultural festival incorporates predominantly Afrikaans theatre, dance, music, cabaret and visual arts held in a variety of venues in and around the town

I simply LOVED it!!! We had a stall there and the porter potties were ALWAYS clean. The only problem was the dust... the location two years ago was much better only because it was on grass. But this one was bigger, which meant MORE stalls, which is always great

If you dont go for one of the theatre shows, this is nothing different than any other bazaar. To me personally, to pay to go into an area where they sell the same old stuff you have seen hundreds of times, is just not worth it. Food and drink is ridiculously expensive. The short while I was there, the entertainment was not what the show was always about. There are plenty of shows in SA, this one is now nothing different. It is losing its soul, and it shows.

Over the years Aardklop has become more expensive. If the prices of the entrance fees, food and drinks were reduced it would definitely be a 5 star

Again a very good Aardklop. All the shows we have attended were excellent. The music and food on the fees terrein good. We have missed the snoek and patat stalletjie. One big issue the smoking on the the fees terrain.

Eautiful clothes.. Nice foods. Good entertainment. Made new friends.
