This is honestly one of the worst food lovers I have ever been to in my life, they never have stock of anything and this has been a recurring problem since the beginning of 2022. I always have to make at least 2 trips during a week because they say they get stock later on during the week, but when I go they still have no stock of anything. There is never stock of any specials, am I the only person that thinks that a food lovers based in a student town could actually be thriving if they were properly managed?

A disgrace to the name Food Lovers. Store is dirty. All products way past sell by date. Think they should rather close down once and for all in Potch! Absolutely disgusted if you compare to Food Lovers in KZN and Gauteng.

The shop looked like it's about to permanently close (unless it is). There were no desirable fruits and veggies. The refrigerators were empty. Not a lot of variety of food. Just disappointing. ????????

The lady at the kitchen was not friendly at all.
She even refused to make chips for us saying it will take long she is only going to help the other lady that came before us and this was during lunch

I am used to buy from Food Lovers Market in Lynwood, Pretoria. You simply cannot compare this shop with Lynwood. This is definitely below par. It is in general not in a good condition. The floors are in a shabby condition.

Baught mince on special there, worst mince meat I ever had. Tastes like dog food. Compared to other food lovers markets, I think this one was the worst one I visited.

It needs to be cleaned thoroughly, this morning 17 January it had this nasty stinch... And it wasn't the first time something like this happens. I say this because they have a fly problem several times I've seen flies on products and I've taken videos of the flies on the food and thought I'd post it on Hello Peter but also feel it would fall on deaf ears. My experience of normal Food Lovers is totally different to the one in Potch its as if its those old fruit and veg supermarket however it has food lovers outside. The meat fridges during load shedding are off I wanted to get some seafood product but when I noticed they are off the totally turned me off. After today I've decided I'll rather drive to Klerksdrop and buy from that Food Lovers.
