Perfect student accomodation.
EDIT: Quickly turning into a very unwelcome environment. Last year August, guests were scanned on camera and asked where they were visiting, and that was that.
This year, at Oudebrug, guests are required to check in (physical book asking ID number, address and cellphone number), while the residents they are visiting need to walk to the gate, scan the guest in and sign the same book. Then, when the guests leave, the resident needs to scan them out again and walk back to their apartment.
This would be fine, if the cameras actually worked, WHICH THEY DIDN'T until literally August this year. Also, the owners/managers should remember: these are STUDENT accommodations, meaning; students can come back from events at 3 in the morning, possibly getting dropped off by friends, and need to walk to their apartments, since they need to scan now EVERYTIME someone comes in.
Perspective: The campus hostels can be visited by anyone from around 6am to 10pm, no ID, no cell, no signature required.
