Nice place and the only one open in the area from 6h30 in the morning. Breakfast was good, except that the avocado was a little hard…..should perhaps have asked.

Prices are fair and space is good. Waitress was less than satisfactory. She did not get my order correct and was not friendly. Management was understanding and took time to explain the organic "hair" on my plate...which turned out to be fibres from the mushroom packaging. If not for the waitress, I'd give 3 to 4 stars.

The algarve steak was very good. Done medium and better than most steak restaurants. The chocolate cake was terrible and you only tasted the bicarbonate and it overpowered any chocolate flavors if they existed. The carrot cake looked dense and I suspect came from the same supplier. They were running a special on cake with a cappuccino for R60. Could be the reason cakes were so bad. Coffee is still one of the best in town. Will come back but no more cake for me. We went back on the 22/4/22 and was very disappointed. The same meal we had last visit was made poorly and looked like they ran out of ingredients for the dish. We had the Algave x 4 and we complained to the manager who said that maybe they didn’t put all the stuff that was supposed to be on the plate and he was sorry. Thats all he had to say and left without rectifying the dishes. It was decided that we will not return to this establishment anymore. Sad, because we have been regulars here and can’t accept such inconsistencies and still pay for it.

Affordable lunch burger special. R50 for a burger and chips. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are usually friendly. The owner is always nearby and you feel well looked after here. Prices aren’t too bad either. Food is always good!

Staff were friendly and respectful.
Food was delicious and reasonably priced as well.

Music was not over the top, but instead a quaint background noise.

Very decent coffee...
