We went to this Restaurant full of expectation and exited to experience some taste .
Upon our arrival we where met with the waiter and he seated us . There where only two waters for the whole restaurant and the place was almost empty lest for some people dining in one corner . I did notice the neighboring restaurants where all very busy and this was a sign should I go here or not . So far so good and I decided no harm done let’s give it a try and we ordered the chicken livers as starter with a castle light and a Becks . The livers were average with some taste . Main meal we ordered a blue cheese (blu formaggi) Italian style cheese sauce bacon and garlic with garlic and crispy onion . I was exited as this is a popular Italian dish and one can’t go wrong , and also I read the whole menu and the introduction seemed very impressive on there 27 year history and love for Italian foods .
When my meal appeared it looked quite yellowish which was a bit odd and only after the fifth mouth full I tasted some resemblance of blue cheese and wondered did they really use fresh blue cheese or something out of a bottle like the ones you get for salad just less quality . I must say that we did not enjoy this meal it had no taste and no flavors and rather tasted like a carbonara which I would say the Woolworths ones off the shelf tastes better . Half way through my meal I noticed a great big crack in my plate and immediately was put off completely . The meal has no taste , the spaghetti I chose with our meals was cooked with no salt at all and the “yellow cheese sauce “ was way too salty not to talk about the crispy onion which really was over salted and robbed the whole meal from all taste with its overwhelming saltiness and onion appease . The manager came and said he is sorry but this is a consignment of new plates and this must have been a brand new cracked one . It would be okey and I didn’t have to worry . Upon which I replied that the crack was clearly not a fresh one and appeared quite weathered and stained and could not possibly be clean from any harmful bacteria .
I included some photos for everyone to see and even though they didn’t charge me for the two meals but only for the livers and drinks I feel that I wasted time out of my life thinking that I will have a moment of peace and quiet and taste to enrich my body and soul .
One last thing the music was tasteless and way too loud so we moved to one of the outside seats .

They were flexible and accommodating, but the pizza just wasn't as good as it usually is. Staff were friendly.

I am down grade this 4 stars to 2 stars. Reason be, Col'Cacchio got lovely hart warm homey food. So yesterday I received a email stating 2 for one and I can use Mr Delivery and or UberEats. So last night I became very peckish and decided let me order my favorite pizza's only to discover Col'Cacchio is not even on Mr Delivery or UberEats. This is very poor service, we you send out marketing please make sure you can deliver on your promises. Because if you can't it is only lies and false advertisement.

Staff are very welcoming but the coronavirus regulations are doing this chain no favours. A pity that dirty tablecloths were simply covered with brown paper: why not launder them? The restricted menu is still reasonably diverse, though my pizza had mostly preserved rather than fresh toppings. It's also a shame gnocchi got dropped in favour of other pastas. The drinks lineup could use some more thought when alcohol is banned. Hopefully they will continue innovating to encourage diners back.

After going in, waited about 10 mins for a waiter to give us menus. There were only 2 other tables with people...
When he finally came he said "sorry I was absent minded, should have probably given you menus".

Left after that. The guy at the door was better, turned a 1 into a 2 star.

Also there was no atmosphere and the staff was way more concerned with counting tips than actually working.

Possibly biased because of the great company I had. But our waiter did forget to bring our desert and coffee went cold. They made up for it with a free cup of coffee and some polite apologies. All in all well done. Good place to eat.

I was thoroughly disappointed by the telephonic order service. Despite calling 30 mins before pickup, the Pizza orders had not even reached the kitchen at the time of my arrival. The patronising explanation that they wanted the Pizza to be warm made matters even worse. It is left only to speculation why my order was ignored but my name Ndumiso Dladla was the single aspect of biography at the disposal of the waiter on the phone.
