The food was alright although the kitchen got my order wrong between a chicken patty and chicken strips on a burger.... Music can not be heard outside, only inside because it ca not be too load untill the neighbours start complaining and music wasn't even that loud. So this makes the place a bit boring. Value of 2 stars only....

Jock's is one of only a few places i can name that has a laid-back, relaxed vibe with its focus mainly on quality time with good company that rather than that of going out to impress.
The same theme pulls through to its staff and menu, being extremely friendly and hearty respectively. Although it might not qualify as a fine dining experience, it does showcase the sought after South African hospitality (with just that hint of "i don't really care what other think" attitude, which is key to the unique vibe)
I recommend Jock's for the times when you need just that bit of worry free downtime with your mates, whether after a long week, or just because it's what's needed.

The music selection adds to this the atmosphere, being a selection of a little bit of something to suit everyone.

Enquire about select specials as well as bookings for larger groups.
Non-smokers (being one myself) who aren't particularly keen on smoke should keep in mind that this is a pub, or should enquire about seating where smoking will not be a bother.

Bad food experience,when I tell the waiter my steak isn't the way I asked it to be ,she wanted to jub down my throat unprofessional

Awesome environment. They have really nice specials everyday of the week and a really great place to get drinks with some friends or family.

Friendly staff, a pretty decent slots room, but the place is pretty small.

This is one of my favorite pubs, the food is excellent and really affordable and the beer is cold. Super chilled atmosphere and free WiFi. Their food specials are awesome and keep me coming back. Definitely worth trying out. They have outdoor seating for those who wish to be in the open air.
