KFC Silverton Village

The past 2 weeks I've visited several KFC branches and can I give 5 stars to Silverton Village.
Staff were friendly and efficient. The bathroom and waiting/eating areas were neat and clean and smelled lovely.
Waiting time was short and the chicken tasty and juicy.
Really a branch to recommend!!!

I was commenting to my girlfriend that this place gives KFC a bad name. There's almost never that nice spicy KFC salt and serviettes in the bag when one gets home. Seems like the owner is budgeting at the expense of the brand.

This particular KFC just need to shut down to prevent any more damage to the KFC brand. The only good thing about this place are the friendly staff members. A KFC that closes at 10pm and has rarely anything to order by 9:10pm? How is that possible?

Last night's experience as I drove up the drive through to the order booth after 7pm;

KFC Staff Member: "Good evening sir may I take your order please?"
Me: "Good evening Ma'am how you doing?"
KFC Staff Member: "I'm very well thank you for asking"
Me: "Do you have Dunked Wings?"
KFC Staff Member: "Dunked Wings?"
Me: "Yes, Dunked Wings"
KFC Staff Member: "Just hold on please I need to find out first"

10 seconds pass....

KFC Staff Member: "Yes sir we have Dunked Wings"
Me: "Great!! Can I please have 10 Dunked Wings and a Streetwise Tw...."

I get interrupted...

KFC Staff Member: "Sir we only have a Wing and a Leg"
Me: "So no Streetwise Two?"
KFC Staff Member: "No sir"
Me: "Okay no problem, I'll have the Wing, the Leg and 10 Dunked Wings please"
KFC Staff Member: "Okay sir so that's two pieces and 10 Dunked Wings. Please drive through"

I get to the cashier, the order is confirmed...

I drive to the receiving window and receive a small KFC brown paper bag with Colonel Harland Sanders' smiling face; the contents of the bag being a Streetwise Two box (I'm confused immediately) and a small white potato chips bag folded up.... (Now I'm even more confused)

Me: "Excuse me, what order is this?"
2nd KFC Staff Member: "It's what you ordered"

I open the small white bag to find two pieces of chicken...

Me: "Where's the Dunked Wings?"
2nd KFC Staff Member: "It's there, in the box, in the bag. It's there"

I thank her and drive home; get home to find the contents of the Streetwise Two box, exactly that... A Streetwise Two with Chips... (I thought they didn't have...)
So I check the receipt; yup it says two pieces u0026 10 Dunked Wings.
I drive back to the KFC with the Streetwise Two Box to exchange it for my Dunked Wings. It's 19:42pm and the KFC is closed, (Loadshedding at 20:00) or rather the drive through. I park and go to the main door to find it locked, but staff members inside there that see me. I knock, perhaps too loudly as the staff then all scampered to the back off the kitchen. One friendly young lady came to the door and opened up; I explained that there was a mistake with the order and I didn't get my Dunked Wings and I'm returning the Streetwise Two. Long story short.... I waited 10mins for my Dunked Wings, received it, went home happily. Got home, opened the box and found.... (drumroll).....

It was the great shop kfc I stay next to kfc but I still travel to Silverton village but looks like my visit on Friday 29/7/2022 was my last visit I waited at the drive through over 20 minutes 6 minutes when I got home the meat was not fresh not at all and I really had that craving for kfc I won't say am not disappointed at kfc but I advise they pull up their socks

I'm giving a 5 star but either there is no chicken or now gravy for your mash but come on now no chicken at KFC how does that work Kentucky fried chicken I don't want to give them a bad rating business is thought out here but other wise they good

They are taking way too long to open after their scheduled Load Shedding????????. So many cars drove off and this was an hour and 15mins after the power was restored. Should it really take that long?

We were at the drive the lady told us to waite in frond for 5 min afyer half an hour my food was still not ready but she is serving other custommers and told me again my order is still not ready
