Great setting in the nursery, petting zoo next door at the pet shop. Great for small outdoor functions. Food is very well presented. Die spyskaart en kelners praat Afrikaans. Goeie diens.

What a nice surprise. Brought my car in for a wash at Herbie's car wash and went to Koffietijd while they were washing the car. Service was quick and friendly and the Breakfast and Cappuccino was great and to top it off their prices are really great too!

Food was good and fresh, prices are reasonable. Service was good, although a little slow. The restaurant was however packed for most of the 2 hours that we were there. We had tramezzinis, toasted sandwiches, salads and a decent piece of chocolate cake (compliments to the chef) and varying drinks.

Cozy and relaxed atmosphere of the enterier and the garden in a rustic style has recently been updated with simple chair covers.

Food presentation is lovely, our birthday cake arived decorated with freshly picked lavender and large cappuccinos had latte art in shape of the heart. Even local sparrow could not resist it and joined us , munching on delicious caramel cake crumbs straight from the plate, unfazed with our presence.

Cafe always have friendly efficient and knowledgeable staff that is attentive but not intruding.Our waitres Kyla reccommended lemon marangue cake and it was great choice.

Even the dreades load shedding could not spoil our experience as they are prepared with generator and well charged card machines.

Added delight is the souvenir shop Creative Classics right nest to the cafe's garden with friendly owner and localy and uniquely sourced art items at good prices.

Kids can safely play in kiddies zone and even rabbits were roaming freely around.

Very cute resturaunt u0026 tea garden! Great place to go and sit and relax with a lot to do at and around Koffietijd, with neighbouring crafts shop, nursery, petting zoo and pet shop. Really enjoyed having to walk through the nursery to get to the resturaunt.

We had a good lunch, even though the service was a little slow. Food was tasty as was the coffee. Photo below is of the halloumi salad.
