Pretty average as spars go, the establishment is alway clean which I appreciate but they have a bit of an odd selection so don't alway have what you want and the quality of their bakery is also pretty average. Basically the only real thing I can say about it that stands out is its convenience as it is pretty well situated

This KWIKSPAR in Groenkloof is one of the best, if you don't mind wasting time for one of the denizens of "club 41" or "fumo" to eventually leave and vacate a parking space for you.

Parking problems aside, you can buy almost any item here, and regarding food and condiments a huge variety of products is kept, including some rather offbeat items. Where else can one buy German sweet (and Australian hot) mustard, Dutch Zoutedrop(salty liquorice), and Coca-Cola that comes in a green aluminium can all in the same place. The shop does NOT sell weed, though.

Prices on normal groceries are OK, and the cashiers are forced to give you honest change through a machine that takes your coins and gives you the change.

It seems that they don't want you to take photos. I only noticed that after looking at my pictures, and nobody gave me any attitude. There goes my 5th star.

Small enough for a quick visit but big enough to have everything you need! Frechly baked hot chocolate croissants over the week-end available just after 9am became a tradition!
