Wonderful space. An oasis in the middle of a busy town.
Its surprisingly spacious, with a stalls area where live bands perform, an outside area where kids can also play, as well as a beer hall where you can watch sports if you want.
The free parking was a plus.
The only thing I'd like to see is more beer variety. There were no craft beers or taps, just a few mainstream beers and ciders.

Overall I'd recommend it. Will be going back again.

Absolutely a beautiful space to mingle and socialise. The one thing that stood out for me was that their cocktails were really good 10/10.Their bathrooms were clean. Live performances 10/10 too!
The downside about the event is that it is actually not child friendly there’s a lot of alcohol consumption and people smoking hubbly. Most of the things being sold are overpriced including food u0026 drinks! If you’re a lover of anything artsy you will definitely enjoy it. Review based on the event that took place 06 August 2022.

Lice performance. Great atmosphere! Great food stalls and merchandise stores. Artists in all aspects.

This was an awesome experience.. good vibes for sure.

I was expecting more markets/stalls then they were (the expectation was created by their website). There really weren't that much markets but there was a variety of food, crafts, clothing and all.

The set up itself really gives you that African feel.

The 'shed' is also such a nice piece of space.. super open and with natural light coming in through the ceiling/roof top.. It really create such a beautiful atmosphere.

The music/live bands were great in the beginning, but then got kinda sloppy... If there was once piece of advice I'd offer to the organizers it would be to have the music organized and well planed out to the T.
The music is essentially the entertainment and when that fails, what do we really have? music creates a certain vibe, especially live music.
And it is great that you do not need to be close to the stage to enjoy the live band. You just be chilling around a table with your friends listening to the band either in the shed or outside.

It a market to experience for sure!

A kaleidoscope of art music fashion in the Pretoria CBD! I think this is an impressive revival of the downtown art and music scene. Was truly an amazing experience!! A good variety of food. Beautiful displays of african fabrics, jewelry,art and fashion for sale. the music was phenomenal the vibe was everything! #IndianSummer

This was a beautiful experience. It was my first time being at a market and I loved the entire experience.

There were amazing stalls from beautiful art, merchandise, jewellery, food. I ate an Asian cuisine which I didn't like at all but props to me the Market@TheSheds virgin for trying things out.

So the market happens every last week of the month on a Saturday. If you don't have plans and you are in Pretoria CBD, I suggest you check out Market@TheSheds for the latest new trends in terms of food, fashion, art, beautiful music, to meet people and to have a blast.
