Staff was very helpful. The place seems a bit odd with all manner of goods (from kitchen utensils to irons to carpets to knitting yarn) on display. Trying to buy something online from them was a bit messy but the staff kept me informed for most parts. Best of all, I was able to pick up a very good deal for an extractor so all good.

This Metro used to be awesome when it was still located in Vodaworld. Bought all my appliances here a few years ago when I moved into a new place. Sadly they seem to have changed their focus a little and they offers on appliances are not that good anymore. Have not looked at the fabrics on offer (which they surely have a lot of!), but am sure it will be a good selection and wide variety. I just miss the amazing appliance selection and deals :)

Wonderful fabric shop. Good range of fabric on offer. Good fabric discounted regularly. Comfortable layout. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Haberdashery to meet requirements. Good parking.

They have a policy, whereby if you buy wool today and realise that it is not the correct wool and you try to exchange it the next day, they are not prepared to even entertain the idea of swapping out the wool.

Fabric and housewares store. I go for the fabric. Good range for dressmaking, quilting, curtains and upholstery. Pattern books and haberdashery available. Staff capable and friendly.

Very warm friendly staff. They even have tried to put in an order for a particular wool I am looking for
