Mooipoort Golf Course

We took an hour and fifteen minutes drive through to Mooipoort Golf Course today to try something new and see what else is out there. We had a tee off time for 12h00 and was surprised how busy the course was, the parking was full. We got our golf cart which was pre-booked and headed off to 1st hole.
We thoroughly enjoyed our game. Some holes cross over other holes so it may be a bit confusing as balls are landing all around you. But a great 18 hole mashie course.
They have a great restaurant and bar with a TV showing the latest sport and a great vibe.

It is a beautiful course, the problem is that some of the people playing there have never Played golf or have little experience in golf rules. The word Fore does not get used as etiquette does not apply here. Play in the week and you will be fine. Take out insurance for weekends and bring some extra old balls especially for the second 9. The food is tasty and the beer is affordable.

They has the most amazing scenery here. And their breakfast is high quality and the best in the whole area. It will never be a bad thing to dine there. It is my go to place for breakfast

Mooipoort is a very nice course on the outskirts of Pretoria. It's a short course with mostly par 3's and some par 4's. The course is small and you should always be on the lookout for stray balls. Greens are well kept and the fairways are decent. For the money yoy pay you get a very nice day of gholf.

I won't play here again! Service is extremely unfriendly! Greens are not great! And only golf course I have played on where you are not allowed to drive on any grass with the golf cart! Also the playing over other players to the next hole is really concerning! Won't go here ever again!

Wow what a lovely venue. Great staff, delicious food and the pricing is just as great. Clean and happy atmosphere. Really enjoyed our lunch there with family
