Great little place. Very relaxing with outdoor seating areas, a pool, communal kitchen, lounge and bathrooms/showers. Gives off a mini bush lodge vibe, which is a very welcome change from the busy and bustling city that surrounds it. The cabins that you stay in are nicely set up and cozy. Overall, I'd say I would definitely come back here again if the need arose.

Just amazing ! So friendly and accommodating, definitely worth every cent, could not ask for more, after starting in backpackers throughout Africa Pumba is undoubtedly in my top 3, would highly recommend it

Pumbas Backpackers is one of few that get it right.
Pumbas has a nice atmosphere, clean cabins and fantastic showers.
The vibe is peaceful and eclectic.
The location is also great, being near everything you need.

Definitely staying there again.

Great place. No need to book before hand.
But if it'swindy/cold, the cabins outside are not the best.

Staff friendly and sorted my car hire but avoid tempest. The pool is good the dorms slightly cramped. The showers were shared and out of the house. The kitchen is small and gets cramped. The sink has a growth of black fungus that needs to be addressed. The kitchen cupboards are old and sticky to the touch. It was ok for me seeing the city as it's close to the train station and walkable to the shops. The breakfast is basic but enough.

Located in the heart of Hatfield,Pumbas Backpackers offers you a break from city life,the staff are friendly and always happy to help.The facilities are well maintained the accommodations are cozy and clean close to all amenities like restaurants bars and super markets,over all a great spot.
