Simplicity in the key to this restaurant. I ordered an omlet for breakfast and it was delicious. Great friendly service. Condensed milk coffee very nice, served in tin mugs.

Really a big disappointment and put a downer on our experience at the reserve. Asked for Medium rare and clearly stating to put the cheese sauce on the side... When it arrived it was so cold it felt as if it was straight out a fridge, asked to get it put back on the grill for some heat, but instead it was microwaved leaving it dry and tough. Didn't even bother eating it. No real apology either. Definitely AVOID ordering a steak, and stick to a toasted sandwich ???? The one star is for the milkshake that was average at best and the beautiful trees????

We have visited the coffee shop area today and were quite shocked to see the rubbish lying around everywhere.

I have seen the same on previous visits as well and if nobody is doing something about it, it will get worse.

When I approached the manager about it I received the answer: 'we haven't been able to do it'. But that was at 14h00, wasn't raining as from 9h30, it was OLD rubbish been lying there and very few visitors. We were the 2nd car there.

I also noticed that the same manager was going to the ONLY working toilet without washing his hands when he left!

There were about 8 people (all staff??) standing and sitting around. Surely they can keep the place clean?

We were visiting the coffee shop on 28 June' 22. The waiter (Collin) was absolutely efficient, friendly and helpful!
The food and coffee was good and well presented.

I would loved it if they could lit the fire in the fireplace, because it was very cold.

A few suggestions:
* Repair the toilet door, because it is unsafe the way it works now.
*Put a person at the entrance of the house to welcome guests and guide them to be seated.
*Tablecloths or placemaths on the tables would add some warmth and would look more inviting.
Also flowers or plants to give more life to the place as it has enormous potential.
Tidy things up at the kitchen counter and make it nice and inviting.
*Play soft music.

Nice menu for a brunch/lunch after driving through the reserve. Quite a drive to get from the entrance to the coffee shop, but lots of game sightings on the way.

Nice to have a coffee shop in the middle of the nature reserve. The picnic area is closed during Covid level 2 and this is the only place available to take a break in the reserve. If you haven't carried a basket, the coffe shop has a pretty good menu to eat as well.

Amazing location within a game reserve. We had the chicken schnitzel. The portions were generous. You will enjoy the tranquility of the environment while you have your meal
