Lovely day spent at the dam, the chalets are near, clean and well maintained. Lots of fishermen doing their thing makes it quite exciting, was nice to have a braai during our time there and the scenery is beautiful. Well worth a visit just to get out of the city for a while.

Receptionist at the gate is extremely rude, she should be fired, no reason to be rude with customers, the vehicles ahead of us all turned around, no reason provided. We asked if we could have a quick look at the facilities, but were promptly refused without allowing us to explain our reason for the request. Terrible service!!!

When there for the mountain bike trails, it is very beautiful and you can also see some wildlife like Buffalo, zebras ect but the trails need some work and definitely need more signs. But overall I still had a great day

Management on the angling side is not up to stanard, if you phone fore information one person say the place is open for fishing and camping and the next day when you phone to book the person say it is closed, what is going on?

Close to the city and worth while visiting. Tea garden located in old homestead.
