We've been visiting UP Onderstepoort with a sick dog for the past 2 months now. Their service and care is just great. From reception, to students, to doctors and even the pharmacy are helpful, professional and friendly. The care of their patients are outstanding.

Extremely helpful staff at the hospital reception area. We had an appointment for 11:00 and we were seen at 11:00 by the specialist surgeon. He was down to earth and explained everything to us in detail and in understandable language. Because of the difficulty of the operation he has made special arrangements to book a theatre for a whole day just to look after my dog. The doctors and nurses and all other staff are extremely helpful and very understanding. I would recommend this animal hospital to any person without any form of hesitation. The staff are also very conscious of the expensive treatment that animals have to receive and do the utmost to keep the prices as low as possible. Even though this is an academic and training Hospital it feels like one of the best private animal hospitals one can imagine.
