An excellent and peaceful accommodation. The staff is friendly and always willing to help.
The downside for me was breakfast; ordering breakfast a day before and eating scrambled eggs every day was a no-no. Staying for three weeks and eating the same thing is not good. The place has so much potential to have a state-of-the-art kitchen for breakfast and other meals. Management neglected the lace.

The last week, they tried to improve on their breakfast, but I was already tired, and I did not feel like taking it.

I've had a great stay, 5 days for work. A very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are super friendly, particularly Eben who has been a great host making sure I had breakfast each morning and was comfortable throughout my stay.

I recently stayed at the Village Ridge for a work trip and wanted to express my sincere appreciation for Eben Salie’s efforts throughout my stay.

It is not often you come across someone as attentive (yet discrete) as Eben. Eben went above and beyond in helping me figure things out, both directly related to the hotel but also in relation to my travels in general. When I encountered a few difficulties, he was flexible and quick to react – which I was very grateful for. His friendly, polite manner and subtle attention make him an outstanding hotel supervisor. His hospitality would definitely be a reason to return to Village Ridge.

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful landscape in a quiet area of the city. On the night we were going to check in, we were running late for dinner, so we phoned the hotel and asked them to prepare something for us to eat. The staff was so professional in asking the specifics of what we wanted. The room was very cost and the bed was comfortable. A great night spent, topped by a delicious breakfast.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks for work. I had a really lovely time! The food is well done and nicely priced. The service was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming. I hope I get to stay again for my next business trip to South Africa!

Advertize as 5 star, but not enough attention to detail. We booked for two adults, only one large towl, we had to ask for another one. We went for breakfast and when we came back our key card was cancelled. Booking out time was 10 am and it was not even 9.am. Breakfast not good, the omelette was very oily. Bed was comfortable and shower was nice.

I love this boutique hotel and have recommended it to colleagues traveling to Pretoria! This is the send time I have stayed in the past 3 months--10 days each time. Well appointed rooms. Great "guest only" lounge area with snacks and coffee/tea. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Quiet, more residential area, yet less than a mile from several shopping centers which I walked to during the day. My company doesn't have an office in town, but hotel offered use of conference/board room which worked well to meet with business colleagues. I will stay here again and again!
