Relaxed and quiet open spaces. Well kept and informative museum. Affordable entrance fees. Quaint restaurant. Friendly staff. Cattle, peacocks, donkeys, sheep and ducks walk freely around the open grounds. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Love this place R30 entry for adults. Gives you access to the museum and space to braai for the day. A must visit.

Go and support museums in SA they need our support I love this place nice for picnics, braai and all good fun walk around the museum to see how the farmers used to do things

Saturday morning: Gate guard under the influence of alcohol. Everything locked up. Nobody at office. Restaurant closed. Premises in state of neglect. This is a farming museum. Why is there a ndebele homestead? Pathetic!!
