Great venue for trail runners and mountain bikers alike.
Dog friendly with many dogs wondering around off leash. Friendly and helpful staff.
Restaurants and entire venue are aesthetically pleasing and close to picturesque natural trails.
Good tasting food and frosty cold beverages.
Good biking trails which are kiddy Friendly.
Some good technical sections as well.
Plenty of secured entrance parking with car guards around. Great well stocked Trek bike store on the premises.
Everything is easy to find, well marked and therefore a recommended biking trail that is family friendly too.

Loved the walk. Did the 6.5 km. It is scenic and I love the varied terrain. There is some elevation and the path has loose gravel so you have to watch your footing but this is what makes it enjoyable. Definitely will go back to do the 10km walk when my legs are less tired. There is also a restaurant on site which I have not tried but looked to be popular. The parking is also nicely paves. Suggest getting there no later than 9 so that parking is still easy to find. The ablution blocks are also clean and well maintained.

We brought our 2 kids here (11 yo boy and 8 yo girl) here for some hiking. We did the moderate trail and all really enjoyed it. Nothing too taxing for the kiddos, and some really great views. There is really fun for the whole family.

A fave indeed and highly recommended! The park is really well kept and family / pet friendly. We did the Mountain Wolf Trail which was fairly easy, with great views. Entrance fee is R40 and there’s also a restaurant on site.

I really enjoyed this trail. I did the combo purple + orange route which was meant to be around 10km.

I really liked this trail and loved the challenge of the steep climb up the hill. The scenery is also beautiful, ranging from lush trees and streams to the drier arrid land on the hill. I love that it's dog friendly too. It was also surprisingly not so busy, which was great.

Somehow I must've taken a shortcut at the 6km part because instead of the route looping back to complete the remainder of the 10km I finished after about 6.7km. Either way I got a good workout with that steep climb and look forward to doing it again ????????

One of my favourite Hiking spots! - my partner and I went on a combined Trail that gave us 7.5km instead of the normal 6.5km Mountain Wolf trail. The Reserve is clean, clearly marked trails and challenging. We both fell in love with this place and decided to visit again very soon. Tranquil, and not much noise coming from the nearby highway, which made my skeptical at first, but overall the place was worth every second of being there. Ideal for families and group of friends too, there are great restaurants there aswell - although it does get relatively busy after 8:30am (During Summer of course).
