I took my 87 year old mother to the ER. It took them 10 hours for her to be admitted. The care in the hospital was below average. The nurses are disinterested. The ward did not cater for old people. My mother lay in the bed which was soaked in urine and had to wait for a long time for assistance. Her hands were swollen and bloody from the drips. After ten days we had to insist that they discharge her, as we felt that she was deterioting.

Worst emergency experience ever.
Sat in the waiting room bleeding from face for AN HOUR before I saw the doctor. (she was the only redeeming feature)
Dealing with the administration/reception is the worst part. They are hard to understand because of the masks, and compassionless when dealing with patients. While dealing with us, the receptionist turned away mid conversation to talk to someone else - that's just rude?
The payment situation was equally messed up.

My 3 month old baby was admitted into the paediatrics ward for 3 days. The nursing sisters ( sister Ruth and sister Fiki) were amazing, caring, helpful and good with the baby. Overall experience was good at the hospital.

Good service, friendly staff except that one lady at reception and the food is really not bad. I’ve always had a fear of hospitals but last year I went in to give birth, this year my baby got admitted there for 5 days and I went in again for 2 surgeries and I got such lovely treatment, the nurses were supportive and understanding especially when I told them I’m scared of hospitals and needles, they made my otherwise difficult situations not so bad.

I took my son here for a follow up after a dog bite that occurred in Rustenburg. The sisters were very professional and the admin staff was also quick and efficient. You made those follow ups bearable ????. Thank you ER staff and keep it up❤️.

Worst ER ever. I waited for 3 hours before they attended to my emergency. When I finally got into the ward, the doctor was chilling and chatting to one of the nurses about how she’s been “off her diet”. I waited an additional 30 minutes on the bed before anyone attended to me as they chatted away in the halls. I even had to stand up and ask what’s going on before I got assistance. Never going to this hospital ever again. No different than going to a government hospital.

. Was admitted to emergency room and the Docter and nurses attending to me were so helpful and kind. Not every day you experience that at a hospital. Such lovely nurses in general ward.
