A lovely outdoor as well as indoor setting, lovely garden for children to play in with rooster's and hen's walking around. Food and menu was exceptional, owner friendly and came to say hello. Service was excellent. Definitely one of my favourite outdoor places, beautiful fountains.

We always visit this place when we visit Johannesburg and it has become a firm favorite with us. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with paintings which are for sale. The portions are large and the food is delicious. The service was good. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful setting. I had a mushroom soup with a homemade seed bread, it was outstanding. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Decor is quirky and cool. Staff and manager are so attentive and quick. Definitely will go back again and again.

On occasion stop here when coming back from Creek 9, food is always fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxing, you can't help but feel like family when entering the fireplace that is inside just creates that warm fuzzy family feeling.

Perfect place to have breakfast or lunch with family or friends, great food, the service is really exceptional, the staff very friendly. Outside and inside seating, little playground for the kids. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. Paputzis has been around for years, is still owner run and deserves to be recommended. I am very glad they survived lockdown.
