Coming to Lenmed Randfontein is more than a pleasure. From entering the security gate all through to having a bed all staff are extremely polite and helpful. Something you don't find in South Africa too often.

I've just overheard a nursing staff meeting on targets for December and something that was interesting was that "We are not in the hospitality industry, we are in the business of making people healthy. That does not mean that we shouldn't treat people well."

Lenmed is clean. Bedding gets changed regularly even if the patient is hard-headed. "Can you get up for us to change your bedding? No! OK we'll change it with you in the bed."

Meals aren't too scruffy either although errors may occur on the order slip. Please note the French toast made with no eggs.???? I loved ???? it.

As ???? hospital's go. Go for it.

I had a procedure done and spent a night at this hospital. This must be the best private hospital in the country. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms with caring, competent medical, admin, cleaning and security staff. The food was amazing, not typical hospital food. Thank you, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I went to visit my father on the 21st of may 2022

I wasn't happy with the fact that there was no provision of blankets and one of the nurses said they only give out blankets when you "tell them" that you're feeling cold.

This was saddening because it's been a cold week and yet expect a patient to tell them that they're feeling col.

My boyfriend went in because he was suffering from several boils, abdominal pain and severe constipation.

The hospital admitted him, drew bloods for screening and kept him there for the first 24hours before administering any treatment or giving him blood results. The next day, they made him 3 liters of water to drink all day because they intended to perform a colonoscopy on him on day 3, at 2p.m. No food and No treatment on day 2 besides pain killers. On day 3 they perform a CT scan, quoting 12k from medical aid. And they didn’t find anything wrong. Then at 2p.m they didn’t do the colonoscopy, my boyfriend stayed hungry.

Around 8p.m on day 3 they did the colonoscopy and found ulcers. The following day (day 4) he was released. And all that money and time spent, they didn’t diagnose anything but ulcers. The nurses treated him poorly even in front of doctors. And he filed a complaint with the hospital.

Merely 5 days after being discharged, he has more infections popping up and feeling even more sick. He has checked into Netcare tonight, hopefully he will get better treatment.

The doctors at this hospital are pathetic. After advising the patient that they would be able to go home the next morning, it is no 5pm and the doctor has not been in to see the patient and get the release signed. This is the service you would expect from a Government hospital, not a Private hospital. All I can say is - pathetic!!

Worst experience ever, if my father had not taken me out on the day he did, worst doctor experience some people only doing it for the money and not for the patient care.

A very bad experience in the maternity ward ,short staffed the morning shift was so bad ,thanks to the cleck who always assist ,lenmed management employee nurses ,big up to the nite shift staff you tried making my stay easy ,I will never recommend the hospital to anyone ,the worse part when you tested positive their call you a Covid patient I'm so dissiaponted with this treatment,no value for money everything was bad nje no more using this facilities again . My name was Covid patient , feeling sad because I left my son there.
