Wonderful living experience in this Estate, individual complexes within the Estate, gardens and grounds are well kept, security has been superb and the guards at the gate are always friendly and happy to help, relatively quiet and residents are friendly too.

We recently stayed at Coconut grove 3.

Upon arrival we were informed that there was no water at the estate and water was only available an hour in the morning and hour at midday and again an hour at night. All owners had been informed that there was a problem with water but yet the owners we rented from failed to inform us.
The unit was grubby and not well kept.
Utensils and cutlery was grimy and dirty the forks still had old food stuck on them. Glasses were still full of finger marks. Duvet covers were ripped and the linen was in general not plleasant.
There were no globes in the side lights of the 2nd bedroom and the 3rd bedroom plugs did not work.
I reported all of this to the owner Mrs Rugbeer who did not show much interest in my complaints.
I had to ask for my deposit back after more than the 7 days normally given to return breakage deposits.
I sent an email today again to thank them for the refund of the deposit and asked in what way we would be compenstated for the terrible stay we had.
I received an email back from Mr Rugbeer to tell me that i was a guest from hell and that inthought i was an inspector and tried to find fault.
Such a disapointing experience staying at no 3 Coconut Grove Carribean Estate.
Would not recommend to rent this unit ever.

Residential Estate with multiple sectional title complexes inside, boomed entrance with guarded access control (very good security)
The units here offer gardens for pets (Subject to body corp approval)
Well run development, neat and tidy
Highly recommended

After getting to Carribean Estates, I was directed to my apartment which was Unit 1A. When i enter, there was no signs of First Resort. Later iI was told it was a partner resort. Unacceptable after all because i was booked by First Resorts. First resorts had no clue of the resort and the set up and what is offered. There was no sanitisers in the room. On talking to the cleaning staff, they said that the rooms are not fogged. When i called reception and asked about food and entertainment, I was told to go to Wildcoast. I was seen by a First Resort rep who came to see me and i told her all about the problems and also told her that i tried to call First Resorts to complain and they did not return any of my calls. The staff did not know where the first resorts offices where nor could they give me details on how to get help. The beaches are far and to have a sick person with us, it was extremely difficult to get to the beach and back. Room are basic and one aircon in the main bedroom. Spending over R5000 for this kind of accommodation is not worth it and to have First Resorts absent and not knowing what is happening at their so called partners, its an insult. We did not have a good time and i am claiming for full compensation from first resorts as they made the booking. I suggest that you please make sure that you really want to go to the Carribean Estates and please make sure that you know what you getting into. Its not covid safe. If you planning to have a quiet get away, this is not the place as the peacock screams every twenty minutes at night till 6am in the morning , so there is no sleep. I would not go there again and if you are a Flexiclub member or First Resort member, beware of they they book you.
