Oh wow! Absolutely delicious! My order of vetkoek, chips and Russian was devoured in no time. The meal is guanranteed to be a cheap momentary pleasure but beware: regular trips there will guarantee to increase your circumference and cholesterol if you don't balance it out with a healthy lifestyle.

I had one of the most awful chicken mayo vetkoeks. The chicken was dry and there was a strange taste that soured the vetkoek. I did not enjoy it at all. In fact, I stopped eating after the 5th bite. :(

HOWEVER, the slap chips are really good. :)

Looking for some good vetkoek or some other random takeout? This place has it, and makes it well! Very well priced and delicious. Are they slap chips you ask? YES, like the good old kind.

Food is good! Well prepared, fresh ingredients, tasty, well cooked! Amazing! And even in lockdown, the service is outstanding. I look forward to getting a meal or a snack from this delightful place.

I Bought 4 curry beef fatckakes and one bacon and cheese fatckake. Those that ate the curry beef fatcakes all have food poisoning symptoms while the one that had the bacon and cheese one is fine.I Tried to reach out to the store manager/ owner. Was told that they will call me back. No one got back to me. I simply wanted to warn them that their food is making People sick and that they should check before someone ends up in hospital. Wonder if the department of health will find fault with the quality of meat served here. I am assuming that they prepare the Vetkoek filling in large quantities and then simply re heat when a customer orders. One has no idea how long the meat may have been sitting at the back of the store. If they cared about their customers they would have called back and at least investigate.

5 days later and no one bothered to call. I had to go to the Doctor as i was very sick after consuming their Vetkoek. Frankie's verkoek...never again.

Good service and reasonable prices.. It looks like they are surviving covid-19.. All take-aways were closed for a while so no business at all for a few months. we'll see how many survive the lock down.This government must catch a wake up, they are ruining our economy big time!
