One of the really below-the-line places that I've stayed in. From arriving in a 'really rustic' reception, with little dogs yepping their 'welcome' at the new guest arriving, to booking out early as a result of the frustrating experience, the accommodation just did not nearly justify the price. With a noisy, busy road close by, I slept very little; the amenities can politely be described only as 'most basic'; the owner has a weird take on what constitutes professional service. Whilst the room was clean, it did not make up for the rest. Perhaps 'they tried their best'; compared to even places like Cape Town in terms of price, it however does not come close.

President Paul Kruger Lodge is a real little gem with a rich history.

Sleeping in thached rooms with a real quiet country feel.

The accomodation is great, quiet and peaceful. Like sleeping on a farm.

Wake-up to a very nice breakfast to prepare your day.

The hospitality is great and very supportive and service orientated.

Highly recommended.

This place is a jewel, nice and clean, most friendly staff, love the piece and quietness, with the nicest green grass i ever saw.

Lovely pleasant owners. Sleeping quaters very nice. Only down fall. No doors dividing bathrooms from rooms. Akward when sharing .
