Great coffee, relaxing atmosphere and amazing people. The baristas (Martin and Ernest) take pride in their craft and truly made exceptional coffee.

I had this very light roast at Flynn Coffee over the weekend and I can honestly say it was one of my best coffees in Jhb. Can really recommend it! The owner/manager is also very passionate about specialty coffee and sourcing it ethically.

I guess any excuse to go and view furniture only to stop in at Flynn's for a cup of happiness perfectly tampered espresso just off the M1 easily accessible for your espresso fix

Now Cult Coffee. It would be a feat to find better espresso than Brian's. I certainly haven't. They serve Chemex, Aeropress, V60, siphon and French press brews as well as espresso. Would be great if they had some seed to cup info on the sourcing of their beans.

If you need to be dragged around a furniture store for an hour, doing so with a speciality coffee makes it far more bearable.

The staff at Flynn are knowledgeable and friendly. The cafe is bright, airy and well decorated.

While I enjoyed my coffee today more than I did the first time I visited, I still feel the balance of the espresso is a bit off, perhaps a slight under extraction elevating the acidity.

Still great to have the option while looking at furniture.

Great coffee, period. Not a 5 start because they had nothing else to offer apart from an amazing coffee. Would have been wonderful to have a quiche, sandwich or even a slice of cake but they focus on coffee and coffee alone, the rest is a lucky packet
