Holiday Inn Express are a good brand of budget hotels. What makes this one better than most is the staff. They have a positive attitude and commitment to customer service. At breakfast when the buffet didn't have a choice that I wanted they were happy to cook fresh to order which was really a nice touch. Reception were also helpful and welcoming and although the bar is very limited here they were able to dig out and sell us a couple of bottles of wine. Being close to major roads suited my trip as I had to travel both north and south and had no problems getting to meetings quickly. All in all a good value for money week at this hotel.

Great experience. Excellent buffet breakfast was included in the price which was a plus. We stayed 7 days and enjoyed all days apart from the last day where we encountered a rude customer service personnel as they timed the breakfast.
Hotel is located in a very safe zoom where there is 24 hour security to get in. If you don't have your own car, it would be difficult to go out late to the shops or to dine in as they are approx 7 -10 minutes drive away. Area is beautiful.
Rooms were nice, although there sofa bed is not very comfortable. Suggestively, they should include the microwave, iron, closet pen and paper in the room as there are no close cabinets at all in the room. Moreover, the locker doesn't work so you cannot keep your valuables in the room. Additionally, it would be nice if they have 2 queen beds options rather one queen and soda bed for big families or families with kids. A plus if they can have great family rooms with babies to accommodate the stuff.
Night dine in option is one only which is walking distance that serve the drinks and nice food.

Staff are extremely accommodating and very helpful. However bathrooms really need an upgrade, mildew can easily be cleaned when treated. The room overall was very clean and fresh. Breakfast needs a relook, had to request for fresh Danish and Muffins, even though these were ready in the kitchen but had not been put out. Please add lamb sausage or Mutton Macon as an option for guests whom do not eat beef or pork. There was a promo running to spin the wheel. When I checked in the night before albeit it was 2310, I was not asked to spin the winning wheel - the next morning when I asked to spin the wheel I was told the promotion ended at midnight - promo advertising should be removed especially the spinning the wheel when the campaign ends.

Nothing much to talk about, we spent total 5 nights here...

1st day ....thier shower not working...I asked the reception and no one came to fix it. I had to bath with cold water.

Thier breakfast is same daily..There is no changes in menu, good items or juices. Imagine you are eating the same thing every morning. It's boring.

Bathroom is too small. Not enough drinking water in the room. This a business hotel...and there should be e some kind of proper management.

Overall I hated staying in this hotel

It's basic. Doesn't have any entertainment areas. No smart TV's so couldn't watch Netflix. DStv very limited. Breakfast was okay. Building is beautiful and cosy. Nice Aircon and rooms. Big thanks to the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff, they the best.

Holiday Inn Express Sandton woodmead office complex. I will say this particular Holiday Inn Express is a big plus to the entire Holiday Inn express around the world. Very clean, affordable, excellent service, friendly and courteous and professional members of staff. Also, the location is perfect.

Breakfast was good.
You can also add sausages on your breakfast.
Everything in the room was perfect except the air corn was making our nose blocked because of cold air flow from it.
Hotel and the room was super clean .
No problems.
They didn't make us aware that on Mondays breakfast starts earlier , we nearly missed it .
