Magnificent night spent in The Loft at Hudson's on Twelfth. Caroline, Brendon, Medicine and TK made us feel so at home, the dinner cooked especially for us, was sublime! Breakfast was also delicious with eggs cooked just the way we like it. We spent a relaxing few hours in the pool, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a flowing fountain. The honesty bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Despite the load shedding, the generator kicked in immediately and worked seamlessly. Would definitely recommend for a romantic night away in the city. The location is central and close to all restaurants (if you wish to eat out) and most public transport routes. A home away from home for sure! We will definitely be back!

Hudsons on Twelth is a wonderfull guesthouse with friendly staff that let you feel always welcome. The room was very nice and it even had heated floors and electric warm blanket which was switched on everyday for me before I got back. They have a bar and swimming pool. Breakfast was great and they even made me breakfast that was not on the menu. The only issue that I had was the slow internet speed, but other than that did I really had a pleasant stay at this guesthouse.

I generally stay in Sandton in a hotel, and with change of plans I was rebooked into melleneys guest lodge,and I won't be staying anywhere else other than here again! From the incredible reception and warm welcoming, to the beautiful fountains and water features. I feel like I could be on holiday! Small area, but would 100% recommend. Access to dinner in pre order, as well as food delivery services. Beautiful bedrooms with a small stop overlooking the courtyard. I am very impressed. Will see you again in 2 weeks time to try another room!

Beautiful, tranquil and our host Caroline was so welcoming. A true gem nestled in the heart of Rivonia/Sandton, easy to find, hard to leave behind.
