Just a note for families; we took our three young children for an early pizza dinner. Couldn't sit inside because most patrons were smoking heavily. So we sat outside, where there were more smokers. (I know that the proprietor can't always control the guests, but we had a particularly foul mouthed man sitting near us, outside. Sadly we left as soon as we could).

Cozy local Italian restaurant.
Pizzas are the best in town, beers are ice cold.
Everything is very reasonably priced.

Modest restaurant and well loved by the locals.

Unwelcoming staff. Getting pushed pillar to post for a takeaway/ being ignored. Understandably they were busy.
Food didn't make up for that.
Its not up to mark. The risotto tastes unseasoned and bland.

Pity we didn't have the time to sit down and have a meal. Family at home was waiting for their pizzas. Service was friendly and understanding. The menu makes for an interesting read, so it took some time and two drinks to make the order. More importantly, the pizzas were absolute winners. Next time I bring the family with.

We had very slow service. Sadly the Pasta dish and chicken Pretoria was disappointing. We chose to sit outside, because inside looked more like a pub.

I have never been to a place where you feel so welcome. The people are so nice. Nick Pigeon served me. The locals made me feel at home and are such nice people. I'm from cape town and definitely coming here again just because of this place! I am truly amazed on how nice the food is with the nice people. Thanks guys. You made my trip an experience.
