I was placed here to recover after having had major surgery. There is absolutely nothing negative that I can say. The staff have been superb, the food has been great and every need that I have had has been attended to. The lodge itself is beautifully laid out. Highly recommended.

Our dear Mother was was brought in after being in a hospital in CCU for 3 weeks. We brought her here because after viewing Sunninghill Recovery Lodge, meeting the friendliest,kindest staff and owner,we knew she was going to have the best possible care and love. We did the right thing bringing her here. The owner has shown us what compassion is and we feel like we are her family. The rooms feel like mom is in a luxury hotel and nothing we ask for is too much trouble for the staff. If you or anyone you know needs care,this should definitely the number one on your list . We met Ann Margaret and her team when my dad was admitted into her recovery center after a stay in sunninghill hospital
He loved being there he felt safe and happy and the staff were so amazing, I moved my mum there from Pretoria to be with my dad while he recovered before coming home back to Zambia, Ann helped my dad when he was very ill and saved him from becoming more unwell thanks to her speedy decision,
Both my folks spent a couple weeks in the center and they came home very happy but sadly my dad passed a couple days of being home but I have a happy heart as he had a lovely time in the center and was with my mum so they spent quality time together before he passed, Ann center is home from home and very welcoming to everyone, Thank you so much for all you have done for both my parents, lots of love

We recently placed a loved friend in the recovery lodge. From collection at her home to transport to her room at the lodge Ann Margarets team of end of life staff were truely compasionate caring and professional. The surrounds were absolutely theraputically beautiful and calm. For the patient, family members and visitors the team went over and above to ensure all needs were met. It was a priviledge to have been able to place our friend at this recovery and end of life lodge knowing that she received unbelievably amazing care and love from those around her. An amazing experience Ann Margaret. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you and your team did to facillitate the most gentle transition for our friend. ????

Right off the bat Ann- Magret was the perfect person that you would entrust your recovery to ..Empathetic and Authentic - filled with Love .

Ravi my husband had a complex femur fracture , followed by surgery and a prolonged hospital stay - he needed post hospital care to recover , Sunninghill Recovery was the perfect step down and recovery centre for his needs . The centre is a home from home - with exceptional and caring people complemented by Luxurious surroundings . With their in-house Executive chef , Ravi dietary needs were always exceeded .

Care was consistently excellent - both physical and emotional . Ravi felt extremely secure and supported .Sunninghill hospital is literally on the doorstep - hence any emergency could be handled expeditiously, thankfully Ravi did not need any during his stay .

Sunninghill Recovery took him to his hospital appointment with the greatest care and eventually graciously dropped him home safe and sound .Our Heartfelt appreciation and love to All at the Recovery Lodge - Your Love and Care will always be treasured .

You have done it all right - in a day and age were medical services and support have become a number .

No one's life is bought, and sometimes we are confronted with this reality when we face an illness. It's in these circumstances that we find a helping hand and support, I found mine at Sunninghill Recovery Lodge. They collected me from my home when I was unable to travel and took care of my every need, not just medically, but emotionally and with empathy. Thank You for being my angels in disguise!
