Well I came to Hunger Stop but you can't sit down for their menu. Take away only. Their burger menu looks awesome, but I was told this Local Kitchen menu had a few of the same burgers. I had a damn fine burger here man, one of the best pepper sauces ever. The service is excellent. Burger prices are value for money as the portion is not small. The patty is cooked to a tasty medium and the bacon ???? was just perfect. They serve a superb gourmet milkshake. Salted caramel and peanut butter. The place has an excellent rustic atmosphere. Go to the back of the driving range to get in.

Service:

We were quickly seated and attended to as soon as we sat down. Drinks order quickly taken.

Food:

The steak was perfection - not overcooked and perfect. Thin cut however it was really great

Overall:
Great service, awesome family crowd with gas heaters to keep you warm.

The menu is interesting but I feel like the execution could be a bit better. The food was good but it felt like something was missing.

I had the beef short rib Sandwich. The bread wasn’t the freshest and I suspect the beef was pre cooked then reheated. It felt a bit overpriced for what was delivered .

The jalapeño poppers were a win.

Service was excellent.

Thank you for taking very good care of us Ramzy.
Kind of hard to find the entrance if you're going for the first time. Walk past the driving range and you'll get there.
Play area is for the younger child, but still beneficial.
Pizza's were good and we will definitely be back. Waffles were delicious. The thick crispy version.

The most friendly staff I have ever met! ????????
We brought our puppy with and the staff were awesome with him. One of the gentleman even took him and his leash and walked him around a bit and played with him! The food was unbelievable - I had a salad and my boyfriend had the steak. The creamed spinach was to die for! Thank you for awesome service and delicious food at an affordable price

The local kitchen has been my neighborhood favourite for a while now. They serve amazing breakfasts and I recently started to visit for lunches and dinners which have proven to be equally as amazing. Heads up they have the most amazing chicken wings!!! I would rate them top 3 in South Africa. It's the kind of spot that is intimate but well known by the community, therefore it's often fully booked from Thursday evenings sometimes even from Wednesdays.

Modest local restaurant where food is wholesome and reasonably priced.
I would give 5 stars if the waiters were better trained.
Our waitress had never opened a bottle of wine before and ended up breaking the cork.

Otherwise, a pleasant, cozy experience.
