........………………..An amazing unique and unusual restaurant set-up! It has a big white marquee out-side with tables and chairs and inside is another story! Never before have I ever seen decor of this nature the walls of the whole restaurant is covered with an amazing collection of rugby-memorabilia, framed rugby-jerseys of all colours even signed jerseys and as the history reads the first jersey donated for this collection belongs to the owner a retired army Coronel whose name is Piet Swanepoel whom I happened to meet and he is friend-lii and jovial and loves his nick-name (ou-man/old man) as he loves to be referred to! There is also lots of old reports of rugby events and photos even of Danny Craven! The inside of the restaurant is divided into two sections as you enter the room it has tables and chairs with a long sofa along the one wall where the patrons can sit on soft seats if you prefer and a big mirror which gives the area a nice ambiance! On the other wall is a well-stocked up pub which leads off to serve the next room which is set-up different-lii here the round table tops are resting on large empty barrels with high-bar-stools a true-lii pub set-up and I can only imagine the kind of vibe and nostalgia when this pub is full of rugby enthusiast and fans watching matches on the many TV’s all over the restaurant! The menu has many different kind of meals and food on offer, burgers are only R60.00 with many more discounted prices as the owner believes in low priced meals for his patrons and guest visiting here! So you will find many special offers for different days too! Even the drinks from the pub is on discounted prices! Because it was still morning and the temperature was very high we decided to indulge in cold-drinks with a home-baked bran muffin served with butter, cheese u0026 jam! The staff on duty showed their best behaviour and served us with smiling faces! We will have to make a point to visit here again in the future to try some of the other meals and foods on offer. A point to note is that they offer free Wi-Fi the code is open-lii advertised on the wall (don’t see this in many establishments)……………….
