Love this place. Beautiful views. Was nice and cozy inside with the fireplace. Good breakfast and the best scones we have had so far! Love that we got to choose our own jams- these were so good but my ultimate favorite was the fig and walnut jam. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back! ????

Lovely place for coffee and cake. When you sit on the veranda and look out it makes one feel how blessed and fortunate we are to be living/visiting this beautiful country. You also can't leave without buying one or two of your favourite jams

Excellent dessert and Cape Malay dishes. The filter coffee is worth ordering. The staff are friendly and prompt. Picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Patrons can be a bit annoying though.

Great location. Awesome views and tasty Jams. Strawberry my favorite but the blueberry was delicious. The scones were a delight. Pity no other halaal food options but a great way to enjoy your beverage of choice

I have had to edit my review since I cannot reply to the owner’s response and her response is completely inaccurate.

We had a booking at this venue for 13:30 on woman’s day and we arrived at 13:22.
Our waitress took about 15 min before she took our order and by that stage we submitted our food and drink order.
At 14:10 I went to look for the owner to ask what’s going on as neither myself nor the table next to us had even received beverages.
We received coffee shortly and at 14:30 I left as I realized the food was never coming. I dislike this place even more now that they reply with lies to discredit a genuine review which is one of many complaining about the same thing. And yes Mrs o Grady, I have been here before and I’m sorry I came back.

We came here and received the worst service I have ever seen in my life.
After I spoke to the owner about having waited 40 min and still had received nothing to drink and that the table next to us also had been waiting longer she told me that they are just very busy. The restaurant was half full so I am afraid to think how it would operate at full capacity.

I left without eating as after an hour after ordering my meal I just could not anymore.

Sorry to say but the place is not what it once was.

I really looked forward to a pleasant afternoon but they don’t even care that people get up and leave.

Took our daughter for lunch on Sunday and we loved it. So many birds and the views was just perfect. Would go back soon and recommend to all our guests.

Went there last year for my birthday and they were pretty good. However went there to celebrate my mothers birthday and got there around 1. Not many lunch options unfortunately so went with something sweet. Scone were good however quite small. I had the chocolate espresso cake. The cake was a bit dry and ingredients weren't mixed properly as there were a few clumps of flour and the espresso buttercream did not taste like espresso at all and was played on very very thin. My coffee unfortunately was also not that great quite bland.
I always like their jams though
