Since covid came Mill stream has become a student residence because tourism came to a stop. I went there to do some carpentry. Still as delightful as ever.

I spent 3 nights here for a business trip during August. It's still a cold month. I enjoyed my stay. The host lives on the premises which is always great. The room I got placed in was a bit cold but very lovely. They provided me with heaters for the room to break the chill.
They do not have TVs in the rooms, but they do have free WiFi so you can still watch your Netflix if you want. My room had a belcony with chairs which was great for nipping outside to smoke.
The breakfast was good. Cold continental is available before 7am and after that you can also order a hot meal. They have percolator coffee at the breakfast table which is always better than instant.
They provide shampoo and conditioner, but soap not shower gel, so it you don't like the tight feeling soap leaves on your skin bring a shower gel.
Card machine is available for payments.

We had a nice stay at Millstream. George was a great host and worked hard to ensure his guests were happy. The place itself is good value for money and reasonably priced compared to many in Stellenbosch. Equally, if you are after the luxury offered by the other places, that is not what you are getting here. This is not budget accommodation, but a little renovation is probably due.

Debbie is an excellent hostess. Rooms were very clean and beautiful. My friend and I did not have TVs in our rooms, but the bnb is in such a great locality near Stellenboch there were so many things for us to do. Will definitely visit again

Perfect place to stay a night or 5. Very lovely clean rooms, a pool, secure parking and a great host that does everything to make your stay comfortable. She even booked a picknick for us and reserved a table at the fat butcher. Can not recommend more!

Friendly staff very accommodating. Wifi works well. Rooms comfortable based close to eikestad mall. Fantastic breakfasts. Recommend din Era at Julian's at eikestad mall

Very friendly u0026 welcoming hostess. Lovely breakfast. Bed needs some attention. Accommodation adequate.
