We tried the 7 course tasting menu and really enjoyed the various plates. The flame grilled sirloin, fried fish, potato gnocchi, pork belly bao and roasted cauliflower was defs our favs ???? The dark chocolate Cremeaux didn't disappoint ????????

In the centre of the outdoor restaurant there is a tree and the theme carries throughout the decor with a greenhouse and industrial feel. ????

Service was on point ????

Charming location and tasty food.
We went for a lunch break in Stellenbosh on a sunny day. The table was perfectly sitting under the grape vine. Being quite hungry we opted for a full chef menu, 7 tapas per person. Each plate had a unique combination of flavours, all very enjoyable. The place is probably very nice also for dinners, we definitely have to go back for an evening culinary experience.

the place is stunnig. you already get some goosbumps in the entrace - so cool. the pavillon inside is beautfil with the big tree in the middle. the atmosphere - just wow. the stuff is not as good as it was one year ago - but still ok. the food was very delicious, you will receive the food in tapas (small plates). we had some fish, gnocchi, and so on. everything was very good. thanks and see you soon again!

Interesting experience. Not the type of food i would expect at a place with a hint towards the more traditional based on the name. The food was all Asian themed, but still tasty. Would have been expensive if not for the special we received for it being a Tuesday evening.

Loved our visit today. The food was outstandingly nice. During load shedding almost everything listed on the menu was orderable.

Also The server was a very kind man.

Also the bubbles tasted good.

We would recommend the Gnocchi, kale and the meat was very nice. Would come back and recommend to others.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The setting is lovely and the food is consistently excellent. I have no idea how they manage to elicit the spectacular unique and diverse flavours that they do, but wow am I grateful! The only reason I didn't give 5 Stars is because of the policy of either everyone takes the chef's set menu (per table), or no one does. I realize it's to discourage people from taking advantage, but I think a slightly more flexible policy would make sense (i.e. anyone at the table can order what they want, as long as they order a dish, with minimum 2x people that take the chef's menu).
