We visited the Oude Werf for a quick cup of coffee during lunch time, but decided to rather stay for a light lunch. We were not disappointed! We had burgers (R90)and chicken salad which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The coffee was also very good. We sat in the courtyard, but there are ample space inside as well. We shall visit them again.

The staff was so lovely and beds are very comfy. Valet parking is very convenient and safe. The interior design is quite eccentric, with some rooms transgressing into gaudy (think silver lamé curtains).

Breakfast was quite inconsistent, so poor on the first morning and much better on the next. Maybe the takeaway is just to stay away from the watery scrambled eggs. Really odd that our breakfast was included but we were charged for water with breakfast (also randomly only on one of the days).

The real letdown is that you are made to feel like a c class guest depending on what rooms you chose. To get to the garden rooms we had to squeeze by their bike rentals. Cleaning left the vacuum cleaner right in front of our room in the hallway they entire stay. Unfortunately the pool area is the smoking area, so we had all hotel guests smoking in front of our room.

Can't say enough how lovely the staff was though. But we wouldn't come back to Oude Werf in the future

I loved my stay at this Hotel. I loved the friendly proactive staff. The hotel itself is very quaint, the parking is narrow but they had amazing team that pull your car in and out. They have their own chef who makes really good food, but the dark chocolate tart was my favourite.Very luxurious ????. The only reason I rated the room below 5 was because I didn't like the open plan bathroom, but that's my personal preference.

The tea pairing offered in the lounge was divine. The tea was brewed perfectly and the sweet treats were delicious. Our host (Carlisle) was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel itself is elegant, neat and relaxing. I look forward to enjoying a tea party here in the coming days.

Gorgeous hotel in a great location. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was gorgeous but despite requesting an iron three times, none was forthcoming. Breakfast was incredible.

Such a gem, hidden in plain sight. There is even Valet Parking. What a wonderful Lift right there for your convenience. The staff is amazing. Go explore and have a great time while you there. The Breakfast 100/100.
