Awesome experience!! The food was fantastic, the coffee amazing and the vibe just awesome. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend the coffee and Turkish delight tasting!!

The place is a hidden gem.

Turkish spirit as the name suggest is a Turkey coffee shop if I may say. The menu surprisingly had food items on the menu which I didn’t expect. I thought it was more a Turkish delight and coffee tasting.

They have Turkish coffee and apple tea both which I enjoyed.

The Turkish delight was delicious. I think the rose was my favourite. Interesting fact they do not use bovine gelatine in their products. They also had interesting flavours in the Turkish delight like a chocolate coconut almost like a lamington, orange, ginger, pomegranate.

On the menu includes Simit, Pide (my personal favorite) and a cheese cigars. We ordered the Simit which was freshly made and had a small side salad and sauce with it. I ordered this cheese and feta pin wheel made out of Phyllo pastry which came with a sweet chilli sauce which I really enjoyed.

The only think I think they should look into is more seating. I went at about two and there was barely any tables left and it want the greatest area to be sitting at. So I do suggest that you book in advance.

I would definitely recommend Turkish Spirit. It’s a quaint Turkish shop with delicious Turkish delight, delicious food and snacks on the limited menu and good Turkish beverages. Plus the owners are extremely friendly and provide a good service.

Had a very good experience. We got a light meal and after that learnt how to make authentic sand coffee. After a demonstration you get to make it yourself while learning a little bit about some Turkish traditions and the origin of Turkish coffee.

What a great experience. We did the coffee and Turkish delight tasting and it was so good. I am not a coffee drinker but really enjoyed the coffee and of course the fresh turkish delight with a delicious variety of flavours.

Coffee is amazing and so is the Turkish Delight (We did the pairing x 4). I rated two star because no information supplied about the coffee origins, although the Turkish Delight is locally produced it would have been nice to hear about the history etc. Everyone loves a good story! Just a bit more info in general and atmosphere / vibe.

Ever since seeing the reviews I have wanted to visit the Cafe.

We drove through to Stellenbosch on Saturday and I must admit, it wasn't a good experience and having said that, I must explain why... We didn't feel welcome, there was no interaction between the owner/waitron and ourselves, nobody explained the various coffees or meals, little pricy on what we had.
The meal was disappointing as was the atmosphere.

Whilst this is negative, I do feel that it could be turned by spending time with your clients, interact, advise and show some interest, ask if the meal/coffee meets expectations.
There are numerous restaurants in the area giving good service and value.. and people are inclined to remember and support those.

After struggling to find the place, bad signage, the Food is not authentic, service was so bad. The plate was even chipped. Water was dripping on me from somewhere, watered down Turkish coffee, don't get me started on the guy who looked downright impatient to take my order. Will advise the whole of Cape Town not to waste their time and money.
