Loved my stay at Spier this weekend, stunning place. Dinner last night was amazing had the Cape Malay chicken curry the chef did not disappoint. ( didn't take a pic) I did take a pic of the milktart . Our waitress was lovely so helpful and professional.

Tasty and tender beef rib thoroughly enjoyed. The wine list has a full range of good wines from the estate, at reasonable prices.
Some more background music would have been nice.

Absolutely shocking service. We visited the spa for a couples massage with a complementary platter. After being seated, we waited 40 minutes before having to ask for service. We received this VERY average “platter”.

Amazing experience, so close to town yet so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Food was fantastic

Lovely food and excellent wine. Rooms basic but comfortable and spacious with cool sheltered lawns. The extra for ground floor rooms with easy access to the lawn and pool is worth it.

We had the breakfast buffet as it was included in our stay. A large variety of food: from cereals, to cheese, baked goods, fruit, yogurt, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns etc. Everything was delicious and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Staying here for the weekend with a breakfast included package. Last night myself and my partner had dinner at the restaurant and were absolutely delighted to a fantastic quality of food and service. I had the Oxtail daish and she had the vegeterian Quinoa risotto. The rooms we stayed in are excellent and massive; with air-conditioning, a massive king-sized bed, well kept bathroom with shower and bathtub. I am extremely happy with Spier! Their wines have improved too since I was last here in 2017. Compliments to the care takers, waitrons, owners etc.
