A fairly easy hike compared to what I have done before. It’s a fantastic option if you’re a beginner or just want a hike that won’t keep you bed ridden for a few days.

Did a lovely hike at Tweede Kruis. Not too strenuous but makes you sweat a bit.
It was quite hot on the day we went and as there is no shade or water spots on this part of the trail. Hikers are advised to carry enough water with them.
The view from the top is amazing. You are able to see as far as False Bay.
It is a must for every avid hiker.

The hike is truly magnificent. On your ascent Stellenbosch and surrounding areas slowly reveal itself. I would suggest going beyond second cross as the view from the very top is breathtaking.

Always beautiful scenes from atop here.
A good place to sit and grab a morning mountain coffee with friends, or grab a small picnic with friends while watching the sun set, or even just to stretch the legs.

Fantastic hike! Some level of fitness needed. Grab your coffee and snacks and enjoy the views of Stellenbosch, Somerset West and as far as Durbanville too.

Very nice and laid back hiking trail. I would recommend this trail to beginer hikers
