We had a lovely stay at this Guest House for the past week and a half. Beautiful property,
friendly owners, kind and helpful staff, and overall a very pleasant stay for us on our trip.
Disappointed it was not available for the rest of our stay in Durban!
Next time hopefully.

This is an amazing Guest House and as a tour guide highly recommend Anchors Rest. Its conveniently situated within walking distance to the Village, where one has a choice of numerous restaurants, a world class promenade, and the beach. Wonderful hosts take care of your every need. My guests both overseas and local continually provide me with excellent feedback, and why since 2017, i have been recommending this guesthouse for my guests whilst on tour. Definitely recommend.

Stayed 2 nights in oct 2020 and we really enjoyed the place. It was raining so we spent more time in the guest house than usual, but this wasn't a problem as the room was clean and very comfy. The breakfast was amazing, there was no buffet due to covid, but you could just order what you liked and it was very good. The owners are also nice to talk to. The area is safe, you're near shops and restaurants and the beach is also only a few minutes walk.

Anchors Rest is one of the most amazing Guest Houses. Very luxurious and comfortable with beautiful finishing touches. Service was 5 star and so was the wonderful breakfast. We love that you can safely walk down to the restaurants just down the road with so many eateries to choose from that you are spoiled for choice. This is an absolute MUST visit again kind of Guest House. What a fantastic experience. Thank you.

A home away from home. Good, clean accommodation with good wifi and amazing location. The room was cleaned daily and owner is very pleasant and helpful.
