Exceptionally bad experience. Arrived at the facility, only to see that there was no water on the premises (this is understandable, the issue is that we were NOT informed of this at all when checking in with the owner just an hour earlier, which they were fully aware of).

We then cancelled our booking and left within the hour, willing to pay cancellation fee but have not received any response since and no refund either.

Would not recommend this stay at all.

Great Hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was tasty and made fresh. The owner gave us great recommendations of things to do even outside of Durban.

Although not the most modern accomodation in Umhlanga, the mere willingness of the manager to assist in any way possible makes it worthy of a 5 star rating

Lovely place, they should just monitor cleaners as I notice they do not clean properly. I noted on top of counters etc especially in bathroom was dusty. Overall it's awesome. The couple who owns it are fantastic.

This place feels like home away from home. The hosts are amazing and accommodating. They made sure we had an amazing stay always. Their breakfast also is good. The guesthouse is big as well. I loved everything about my stay!

Hosts are great, room has everything you need while on a break. Air conditioner makes life awesome in the heat. Breakfast lovely
