Protea mall is more of a strip mall with intimate restaurants and cafes and a pick and pay. I love the open lay out and the variety of choices for dinning. If your stating at the Protea in Marriott like I was you will definitely appreciate the close range "mall" and how it add to the vacation atmosphere

Brand new redesign hotel the food is great and delicious Weldon to the Chef ...the staff is very professional the rooms are very clean

It's the place to be. Vibe is chill and lots of restaurants to choose from. Sunday night was rocking and I'm sure there is something for everyone.

I love it cause its close to work so grabbing lunch is not a nightmare. There's Rocomamas for great burgers, You have Plan B for that something sweet. There's a selection of fabulous restaurants to choose from and there's that wonderful vibe of that Umhlanga buzz.
