Lovely big shop with a huge variety of products, Pre cooked meals are lovely. The till staff are better but they do sometimes ask you for the groceries you are paying for, that's the only reason I scored them less.

The mall is superb but the problem lies with the tenants mall management should vet the shops, for example checkers did not wanna give me cash send Capitec on the till and insisted that I go to money market which meant a new queue for me... Other shops trade in bad faith mall should address this..

Today I received no assistance a customer was holding up 2 lines with 1 little basket telling me she will decide where she's standing but is at both tills...checkers workers stood by witnessing this EVEN AND DID NOTHING I would go as far as to say it was racial. I have showed here over 20yrs and am apauled at the staffs no response to what was obviously a ridiculous attempt at a customer tryng to intimidate and insult me and they did nothing. Shame on you Checkers . Shame SHAME SHAME! If it were possible I would leave no star ranking

Nice store, but like many other Checkers Stores, the smell of decaying fish from the fridges at the back is very offensive. I try to buy only magazines and other groceries and stay away from the meat products.

It's so disappointing that a big Company like shoprite with so many client tell would sell an expired baby product. If my partner didn't check the date when we get home we would have gave our gave our babe expired food. Worse part we stay far from Welkom we had to take a cap to return the product which cost us money and time. We did not even get an apology from the Branch Manager she had an ATTITUDE. We were Assisted by Nomvula Mkhahle who called her Manager for exchange Authorization. What shocked me was their answer when I ask if ever we ddnt see the expiry date and the kid get sick who was gon a be responsible for that, I was told that it's me the parent after trusting such a big company......
