My sister and I recently did a Lava bead and Essential Oils workshop with Awanatu Art, Body u0026 Soul at @The Workshop. We got to make our own bracelet with lava beads, and there after make our own mix of essential oils to use on them.
We had such a variety of beads to choose from, and some good guidance from Ingrid who owns Highly Strung Jewellery. It was actually overwhelming, to now think do you want to just go by colours you like, or do you want to make some according to your star sign or health issues you have with the certain stones to use. So I trolled through some books for guidance and then each made our choices.
It was a lovely small group and a really great morning out. Pretty happy with how my bracelet turned out. We even had time to take it a step further and make earrings to match, which proved an even more confusing decision. Long or short, do we make it similar or the same as our bracelets. All in all it came together nicely.
I've never eaten at the workshop but the decor was so funky, I just had to take some pics and hopefully go back for a meal. We just had their Carrot cake and Coffee/Tea while concentrating and working on our master pieces ???? and some delicious brittle that was also given to us ????
Ps. Majority of the pictures are mine, just added in a few pics that Jenette took and posted on her page, and 2 that my sister took.
I did post earlier that there is another workshop happening in Edenvale soon if you keen to do something like this.
